Humidity can cause static in straight hair. After you moisturize, run your palms over your hair. The leftover moisturizer will smooth the flyaways.

• Or, spray nonaerosol hairspray on your brush, and brush through your hair. (Aerosol is too light, it won't work.)

• Or, run a sheet of Bounce through your hair!
