When I was seven years old, I read a classic children’s book called Harriet the Spy, and decided that I wanted to become a writer. (In my early 20s, I talked my way into a top-level editorial job at ELLE Magazine, and added “editor” and “editorial director.”) I am now a creative and collaborative editor-in-chief with commercial success in conceiving, developing, launching and marketing consumer publications and digital content that generates readers and increases revenue.

As a writer, my expertise is food and travel, health and wellness, beauty and lifestyle, arts and culture, which I have covered for over 75 national consumer magazines and newspapers. I am also the best-selling author of two books: Beauty: The New Basics and Fast Beauty: 1000 Quick Fixes, both published by Workman Publishing.
